Tourist Drive

Tourist Drive

Take the tourist drive through Sydney's Ku-ring-Gai Chase National Park, featuring the Hawkesbury River and the beautiful Pittwater Inlet, surrounded by the great Aussie Bush and its wildlife.

West Head

West Head

Our first stop is at West Head Lookout at the tip of Ku-ring-Gai Chase National Park for sweeping views of Pittwater, Palm Beach, Broken Bay and the Central Coast.

Sydney bushwalk to Great Mackerel Beach

A unique 1 hour downhill bushwalk through the National Park and via ancient Aboriginal engravings to a remote and secluded beach. This walk is relatively easy, however there is one steep rocky section. Keep your eyes peeled as there is always the chance of seeing bush wallabies and goannas.

Bushwalk continued...

Bushwalk continued...

From the bushwalk, the views are magnificent and there is a true feeling of remoteness and being in the heart of the bush. A definite highlight is the unexpected turn in the road, as we descend to the beach via coastal properties perched on the cliffs. One of our all time favourite Sydney experiences away from the crowds!

Ferry to Palm Beach

Ferry to Palm Beach

The bushwalk finishes at one of Sydney's most remote, pristine and desert island like beaches - Great Mackerel Beach. There is time to explore here before then taking a scenic 15 minute ferry ride across Pittwater to Palm Beach. At Palm Beach, its lunch time and a chance to sit down, relax and take in the stunning views of Pittwater and Ku-ring-Gai Chase National Park.

Palm Beach

Palm Beach

After lunch, we then make our way round to the ocean for an insight into one of Sydney's most exclusive and beautiful beachside suburbs - Palm Beach. Palm Beach is also home to some of Sydney's finest real estate, some of which are worth $10 million! There's ample time to soak up the sun, sea and sand and appreciate the unique lifestyle that the locals have, as they wake up every day to this picture postcard, totally unspoilt gem of a place......and still in Sydney!

Sydney's Spectacular Northern Beaches!

Sydney's Spectacular Northern Beaches!

The beauty of Sydney doesn't end there! As we make our way south from Palm Beach, we enjoy a memorable road trip down one of Sydney's unofficial "Great Ocean Roads"! This road winds its way down Sydney's Northern Beaches and coming top of the list of classic beaches en-route is Whale Beach, followed by Avalon, Bilgola and the jaw-dropping Bilgola Lookout. Here you can appreciate the true shape and beauty of this coastline and enjoy far-reaching views towards North Head at Manly 25km away. Look out also for whales during the migration season as they commonly seen from these cliff top vantage points.

North Head at Manly

North Head at Manly

There is no doubt that we leave the best 'till last! The final viewpoint before then heading back to the drop-off point is the view down the length of Sydney Harbour from Manly's North Head. One of the most iconic sights in Sydney, but sadly only a fraction of visitors to Sydney will ever get to see it. A location that is often put in the "too hard basket", but we couldn't let you go without seeing it. A perfect way to end a unique, in-depth and comprehensive tour covering some of the finest bush and beach locations Sydney has to offer. We hope you enjoy the tour!
