Supported by the NSW Government through its tourism and major events agency, Destination NSW, the Hurley Australian Open of Surfing will return to Sydney’s iconic Manly Beach from 7-15 February 2015.
Flamin' Galah Sydney Tours and Airport Transfers are very proud to be a local business on Sydney's Northern Beaches and are very aware of the wonderful boost to tourism that major events have when they are hosted in Manly. The great news is that the Hurley Australian Open of Surfing will return to Sydney’s iconic Manly Beach from 7-15 February 2015. Hurley will again be the title sponsor of one of Australia’s premier action sports and lifestyle event, celebrating and showcasing the best in surf, skate, music, fashion and art. Having produced two hugely successful events in 2012 and 2014, event owners and producers IMG Australia will once again work with Hurley and Destination NSW to deliver an even bigger Hurley Australian Open of Surfing in 2015. New South Wales Premier Mike Baird said, “International events like the Hurley Australian Open of Surfing put Sydney and Manly on the world stage and prove not only do we have some of the best beaches and surf culture anywhere in the world, but also a vibrant music, art, food and wine scene.
This is an awesome opportunity to further promote Flamin' Galah to a large audience who are visiting the area and it will no doubt be the Home and Away tour to Palm Beach Summer Bay that will attract the most amount of interest. Having said that many families and groups take full advantage of our private and customised tours to anywhere in and around Sydney e.g. the Blue Mountains, Hunter Valley and Sydney city and Bondi sights.
