Sydney Tours Bondi Sculptures by the Sea 3rd Nov 2012

Flamin' Galah Sydney Tours - Saturday, November 10, 2012

Another one of the few days in the year when we can visit Bondi Beach during the the annual Sculptures by the Sea Exhibition.  This time we took 13 Norwegian students (not all in the pic) who are staying at the Beach House in Manly and are on their Go Study experience at the ICMS college in Manly.  A great group of guys who enjoyed their free time around Bondi Beach watching the surf, doing some shopping and chilling out and also doing the coastal walk to Tamarama Beach via the sculptures by the sea.  I wonder which sculpture was their favourite?  I personally loved the giant sign which was near where this pic was taken.  The sign simply read "View" and next to it was a small "tm" meaning of course trade mark.  You can't trade mark a view but that was obviously the irony in the sculpture.  Lots of great ideas - be sure to check them out next year!
