Sydney Tours Hunter valley tours

Flamin' Galah Sydney Tours - Tuesday, May 28, 2013

Private chartered tours to the Hunter Valley are one of Flamin' Galah's favourite Sydney tours and thanks to a lively and very happy group from Canada, we had a wonderful day out.

As always, we took the beautiful scenic road to Wollombi, where there is the perfect place to wander around an old historic town, grab a coffee and enjoy some of New South Wale's wonderful rural scenery.  Its about 45 mins from there to the centre of the wine tasting region - Pokolbin.  We stopped at a few vineyards including Mcguigans, and also at the spectacular Audrey Wilkinson where the views are just to die for - see pic.  The group gave a big thumbs up for the food at the Irish bar/restaurant and all in all had a great day.  BUT......there's more.  They enjoyed their Flamin' Galah Tour so much they wanted to do another one.  A few days later we took 8 of them this time on a tour of Sydney Harbour's finest headlands and lookouts.  It included the epic North Head, The Bower, Dorboyd Head, Middle Harbour and the sensational walk along Clontarf Beach.  This is the one tour that I WISH every tourist who came to Manly could do.  It is filled with highlights and shows off some magical places which a vast majority of tourists sadly never get to see.  These guys were the lucky few and it was an absolute pleasure taking them on two classic Flamin' Galah Sydney tours.  Here is what thad to say about their experience with us.  See this post on our Facebook page.

"Al Wilson and his Team at Flamin' Galah tours - the absolute best tour guide(s) we have ever happened upon in any of our travels. From airport and cruise ship transfers to 2 magical tours - one to the Hunter Wi e Valley (private tour for our group of 6) and an additional tour of 'Al's North of Manley Beach - his knowledge of the area was amazing. Pair this with punctuality it made our experience wonderful. Thanks Al !
