Tourism Australia invited 50 key UK trade officials to meet Managing Director John O’Sullivan in London on Friday 18 July and hear about the agency’s strategy to meet Australia’s Tourism 2020 targets.

The session, which also covered the best methods for marketing Australia to UK holidaymakers, was attended by State and Territory Organisations, airline partners and senior executives from tour operators, wholesalers and key product. In 2013, the UK was Australia’s third largest inbound market for visitor arrivals, and the second largest market for total expenditure and visitor nights. It was the largest market for total dispersed nights during 2013.

Flamin' Galah Sydney Tours and Airport Transfers provide many tours for visitors all over the World, but the UK market is a very prominent  target when promoting the Home and Away Tour to Palm Beach, Summer Bay.  Home and Away is a very popular show in the UK and its definitely a part of the World that Flamin' Galah is keen to further promote to.
