The AUD$14 Million Tjapukai Indigenous Experiences is set to be completed in April 2015. Tjapukai will unveil its new additions to the park including the Circle of Life Theatre which uses advanced visual special effects to explain the ancient dreamtime story. Bundarra Cassowary Egg Theatre is a brand new auditorium with live performances ranging from contemporary dance to live theatre. Historical Journey is an informative and interactive timeline gallery that uses a range of media to explain and explore the Djabugay people’s history. The Art Exhibition Gallery is a state-of-the-art, environmentally conscious design that brings the outdoors in, as visitors appreciate ancient and contemporary Indigenous art and sculpture. Sugar Bag Restaurant and outdoor Café, overlooking the serene Storywaters Lake, has been planned using sustainable design, while the menu will contain Indigenous inspired dishes and the restaurant will have its own produce gardens.
