Many Reasons to get out of the Sydney City

Spring has sprung and there’s no better time to explore the family-friendly adventures waiting right on your doorstep in Regional NSW.

Spring has sprung and there’s no better time to explore the family-friendly adventures waiting right on your doorstep in Regional NSW.

A new tourism campaign launched earlier this week by Deputy Premier and Minister for Tourism and Major Events, Andrew Stoner showcases the exciting destinations and attractions that will keep the kids entertained these school holidays.

“Spring is a fantastic time to take an affordable family holiday in Regional NSW, with an abundance of kid friendly attractions to be discovered,” Mr Stoner said.

“School holidays are also a great time to learn a new skill, like trying your hand at putt putt golf or horse riding, while our wonderful museums, observatories and cultural institutions run engaging tours to excite and inspire.

“There really is an exciting holiday adventure waiting on your doorstep and I encourage families to explore Regional NSW this school holidays,” he said.

Sydney and Regional NSW will play host to a great calendar of events celebrating the turn of the season, starting in September with events such as the Australian Garden Show Sydney, Spring Festival in the Hunter Valley, the Spring Orchid Chow in Nowra, Berry Gardens Festival, Oberon and Villages Spring Festival of Open Gardens, Spring into Corrimal and the Wild about Waratahs Festival in the Blue Mountains. Or check out the Cowra Cherry Blossom Festival.
