Tourism Australia, Air New Zealand and six of Australia's state tourism organisations have joined forces to entice New Zealanders to travel to and beyond Australia's gateway cities. 'Savouring Australia: An 80 course degustation of discovery' is showcasing an appetising series of blogs and imagery captured across six states. The 12 week promotion began on 1 September and after two weeks the campaign website has already had nearly 70,000 unique visitors spending on average six minutes each on the site.
This news is doubly good for Flamin' Galah Sydney Tours and Airport Transfers. Number one, as a company we are always urging people to enjoy the areas outside of the cities and to appreciate the wonderful countryside and nature. We achieve this via our range of private customised tours which allow people to design their own itineraries with help of our local and expert knowledge. Just some of the off the beaten track places include the non touristy parts of the Blue Mountains, Port Stephens and our all time favourite - the Southern Highlands and the Grand Pacific Drive.
The second reason this promotion work is so good is that it will only steer more people from New Zealand to our much loved Home and Away tour to Palm Beach, Summer Bay. Kiwi's love Home and Away and now with even more publicity about Australia that they are exposed to we are confident this will increase numbers on our tour.
