Tourism Research Australia’s National Visitor Survey for the March quarter shows overnight trips are up 9% compared to the same period last year, with nights up 5% and spending up 6%. For the year ending March, overnight trips and spending were both up 4%. Flamin' Galah Sydney Tours and Airport Transfers have noticed a significant increase to the numbers of people who have booked the Home and Away tour to Palm Beach, Summer bay and have come from various parts of Australia.  The most common places are Perth, Brisbane and funnily enough we have quite a lot from Tasmania as well.  This is a great sign as people from Australia see Sydney as being affordable and place that is certainly worth visiting.
