Excellent news, Aussies – the Chinese love you, and have voted Oz the place that they’d most like to visit.  A Hotels.com survey of 3,000 Chinese travelers found that Australia made it to number one on their wish list.

As quoted in Shanghaiist, Hotels.com’s regional director Katherine Cole explained why Down Under is the preferred holiday destination of choice. Australia ticks a lot of boxes for Chinese tourists; it’s safe, there are plenty of cultural hotspots to take in, the food’s rather good, and the people are welcoming. “In a lot of cases, hotel chains are putting in Mandarin-speaking staff, or providing a Chinese newspaper and translating menus. They’re also ensuring that Chinese breakfast is available, as 95% of Chinese travellers actually eat in their hotel when they travel,” she said.

Flamin' Galah Sydney Tours and Airport Transfers now offer private and customised tours in Mandarin and Cantonese to fulfill the needs of the Chinese visitors into Sydney.  Our private tours allows groups to design their own itinerary and have complete flexibility over their day trip in or out of Sydney.  The Chinese market is of huge importance and is a market that is being heavily focused on through social media and contacts in the local Chinese communities.
